Our thoughts, feelings, and actions constantly intersect with each other. We can easily victimize, shame, and hurt ourselves by believing any one of these is the ultimate definition of who we are. Many times, as women, we carry our wounds of the past forward because we lack the tools to change our thoughts and feelings of unworthiness. Action is the answer. Lisa can relate; this was who she was before kickboxing changed her life. With boxing as her guide, she went from bullied and abused to powerful and confident. In this conversation, you’ll learn how to take thoughts and feelings from victim to victor and reverse engineer yourself into a positive, powerful force for change in your life and the world with action.

Lisa is a professional boxer and kickboxer, speaker, coach, and founder of the I AM Initiative; a confidence and empowerment curriculum + program for young women. After years of trauma and being victimized, she found her way to boxing and her self-esteem soared. Through dynamic movement and engagement, Lisa’s workshops teach the “rules” of self-protection, including self-compassion, trusting your “gut”, and creating positive change in the world. It is her deepest desire to give young women the tools to be strong to confidently overcome the obstacles they encounter throughout their life.
